These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MapNinja at mapninja.io (the “Service”), operated by the MapNinja team (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use MapNinja

You may use the Service if you can form a binding contract with us and are not barred from doing so under applicable law. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, you may use MapNinja only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

4. Your progress data

Progress tracking is stored on your device and, where you sign in, associated with your account. You are responsible for the security of any device or account you use. We describe how we handle data in our Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual property

The MapNinja name, branding, original artwork, software and the arrangement of the Service are owned by us or our licensors. Game titles, characters, imagery and trademarks belong to their respective owners; we refer to them to describe the maps we provide. Our team curates the location guides and develops the tools that make them searchable.

6. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, follow the process in our DMCA & copyright policy. We respond to valid notices and remove or disable access to infringing material.

7. Third-party links

The Service may link to third-party sites and resources. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability, and linking does not imply endorsement.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Map data is provided for guidance and may contain errors or be out of date.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or any loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
