Aion 2 Dungeon Locations

A dungeon is a separate area where you explore, complete objectives and earn rewards. In Aion 2, these rewards can help you improve your skills and equipment.

What is a dungeon in Aion 2?

A dungeon is an area with its own challenges and rewards. You may need to defeat enemies, find a treasure chest or reach an object at the end. Follow the objective shown inside to see what you need to do.

Sealed Dungeons are small solo areas you discover while exploring the world. Expeditions are party dungeons where players work together to defeat monsters and bosses. Krao Cave and Urugugu Canyon are Expeditions for up to five players.

What can you do in dungeons?

• Explore new places. Enter caves, hideouts and old buildings that have their own enemies, objects and stories.
• Complete challenges. Fight a boss, avoid traps or find the object needed to finish the dungeon. Read the objective before leaving.
• Collect useful rewards. Sealed Dungeons can give points and materials that improve your character. Expeditions offer equipment and other items.
• Play with a party. In Expeditions, work with other players to handle enemy attacks and keep the group alive.

Why are dungeons useful?

Dungeons give you ways to grow stronger alongside the main story. Sealed Dungeon rewards can help you improve your skills and add bonuses such as health, attack and defense. Those upgrades can make later fights easier.

Expeditions are useful when you need better equipment. They also give you practice against bosses with different attacks. Start with a difficulty your party can manage, then try harder fights as your equipment and confidence improve.

What points can you get from Sealed Dungeons?

Sealed Dungeons in your own faction's region can reward Daevanion Crystals and Wisdom Stones. These give two different kinds of points:

• Daevanion points. Use a Daevanion Crystal to gain one point. Spend points on your Daevanion boards, the upgrade screens that add character bonuses and improve certain skills.
• Skill points. Use a Wisdom Stone to gain one skill point. Spend skill points to raise the level of your character's skills.

For example, an Asmodian clearing Final Haven in Altgard can receive two Daevanion Crystals and two Wisdom Stones. Using them gives two Daevanion points and two skill points.

Start with your own faction's region: Verteron for Elyos and Altgard for Asmodians. Rewards differ when you visit the opposing region. Its Sealed Dungeons can give Abyss Points and more Enhance Stones instead of the skill-point and Daevanion items.

What other rewards can you get?

Sealed Dungeon rewards can also include:

• Enhance Stones. Materials used to improve equipment.
• Kina. Money for character expenses. Bound Kina has spending restrictions, so check the type you receive.
• Titles. Rewards for completing particular dungeons. Titles can provide character bonuses as well as a name to display.
• Sealed Wing Featherdown. A material used to make wings through Substance Morph, the system for turning materials into other items.
• Statue Scraps. Materials used to make special statues.

Expeditions have their own equipment rewards. Depending on the dungeon and difficulty, you can earn weapons, armor or accessories. Check the reward list for the piece you need before choosing a run.

Expedition reward cubes use Odyle Energy, a resource spent when collecting their rewards. Check your energy, entry requirements and remaining reward attempts before starting. Finishing a dungeon does not mean every item on its reward list will drop.

What can you discover inside dungeons?

Sealed Dungeons are not all the same. Some contain enemies and treasure chests. Others involve traps or books that tell you more about the world. For example, Library of Foresight involves passing traps to obtain a volume of the Book of the Bulwark.

The two regular dungeon locations on the Verteron map have different settings. Krao Cave is a former laboratory with the experimental creature Berk. Urugugu Canyon is home to the Aullaeu tribe and the sacred bird Auldor.

How to use these dungeon maps

1. Find your region. Choose Verteron or Altgard, then zoom in near your character.
2. Choose a dungeon. Select a pin or a name in the location list. You can also search by name. On a phone, tap the list button first.
3. Check the approach. Look at nearby paths, cliffs and changes in height. The entrance may be above or below your position.
4. Finish the dungeon. Follow its objective and collect your rewards before marking it as found.
