Aion 2 Empyrean Trace and Feather Locations
Empyrean Traces in Aion 2 are the collectibles that players often call feathers. Start with the map for your current region, then search one small area at a time instead of following points from the wrong faction or zone.
The maps below show the Empyrean Trace points we cover on each map.

Choose the region before comparing a count
Verteron and Altgard each have 560 points. Elthen and Morheim each have 140. Abyss Reshanta A has 200 and Chaotic Middle Reshanta has 100, so do not compare their totals directly with a guide that only discusses one starting region.
Use the map name and landmarks to check where you are. A feather count from another location on map is not evidence that your local checklist is missing something.
Check height before circling a point
A trace can be above or below your current location. Look at cliffs, structures, water and nearby position rather than searching only the flat ground.
If the Feather looks unobtainable, inspect the route from another side. A cave entrance can start away from the collectible, and a high ledge may need an approach from above. Plan a safe landing or return path before committing to a jump or glide.
Use the collection prompt when you reach the trace and confirm the pickup. Being near the glow or passing through the same map position is not enough to finish your checklist.

Make a small, repeatable search route
Pick a cluster around a landmark you recognise, then finish that area before moving to the next. Leave blocked or uncertain points unfinished so they remain visible in your own search plan.
If several markers share the same generic title, use their positions and nearby terrain to tell them apart. The title alone does not identify a unique cave, ledge or route.
Keep the map checklist separate from your game progress. MapNinja does not read your save or automatically know which feathers your character has collected. Confirm finds in the game, then record them on the map.
Frequently asked questions
Are feathers and Empyrean Traces the same search?
Yes. Players commonly use feathers as a short name for Empyrean Traces. This guide shows every Empyrean Trace we cover.
Why does another guide show a different total?
Check the region, map set and game version. A count for one zone should not be compared with a combined set of several regions.
Why can I not see the trace at the marker?
Check height and nearby entrances. The trace may be on a ledge, below you or reached from a route that begins away from the point.
